Love and Desire (quote)

"The man who has intercourse aggressively and uneasily will produce children who are irritable and untrustworthy; but if the intercourse is done with great love and desire on both sides, then the child will be of great intellect, and witty, lively and lovable." -Leonardo Da Vinci

We All Gotta'

We all gotta' love each other! You can deny it all you want and say it is a "crazy" idea but it won't change the fact that we all just gotta' love each other!

Mewl Avocado

Mewl
Syndic
Yourself
Pills righteous
Configurements
When that dog
Chased
Me
Away from
True love
I went
Up to the
Stratosphere
In
A pumpkin
Ears bad begged
Thousands
Dead
How can you dare to say
You are not a gym
When clearly you are
Indeed a gym
Am I right to assume
That this sandwich is
Lacking avocado slices?
Creatively.

Never Accept

Time for things to change within the system. It's been screwed up for far too long! Seems like all it does is cause us to hurt each other and perpetuate needless violence. We'd rather kill each other than help and love one another!? I for one do not and will NEVER accept this paradigm.

Social Dirt Love

Dirt love
Heart shaped
Computerized
Thoughts not spoken
Rarely
Medium well
Taste the spit supplied
By our only
Father/Pope
Love dirt
In the soil secrets are buried
Rare-ly
Does the pain speak
To Saints (!)
(pushed your ass against steel dumpsters.)
The social part of life
Only mimics networks
Of once great
Civilizations
Dirty fate awaits
While we go on living
Living and supplying
The world with fascism
Gotta' legalize our-selves before
Anything else!

This Limited State

This limited state of consciousness is on its last cycle. Be still and accept its demise as yet another leap forward for all Humanity. Allow new more compassionate ways of thinking and being to wrap around you and infuse your soul/body with ever more expansive rays of light and love. Do not fight it. Do not fear it. It is meant to be.

Existence Is Important

Why must all of the minutiae be so ever present and ever perplexing? Like some analogous time bomb of affluence and delusion. Tends to be that way most days and nights.

It's no big deal. Right? I suppose not. But I've never been the type to suppose much. Especially, during the 21st century of human existence.

As I watch time fly by me and the stars change their position, I am brought back to a much simpler state of mind. The state in which I thrived during my childhood. Things seemed better, felt better. And whatever I didn't understand I just allowed it to fester and die out of its own volition.

Many other things would occupy my mind. Things that were much more positive and magical to a kid like me. So what if no one else saw what I saw or felt what I felt!

Being small has a tremendous impact on one's perspective. It makes the entire world look bigger, grander and very important. And indeed it is! It always has been!

As children we live with a profound sense of wonder and unparalleled amusement. We then have to suffer greatly as those qualities are gradually, but quickly, torn away from us upon reaching adulthood. And so we then spend the rest of our lives deluding ourselves into believing that we're okay with it all! Okay with working demeaning jobs for very low pay. Okay with having most of that pay go to Uncle Sam. Okay with paying taxes. Okay with being promised that tax money will go towards revitalizing the community but rarely seeing such a promise manifest.

Okay with being dependent on oil. Okay with starting wars to acquire more oil. Okay with producing more iphones, ipods, ipads than we know what to do with. Okay with allowing Chinese factory workers to assemble these devices for extremely low pay, lower than what we consider low, and hurling themselves off the factory roof when the poor working conditions become too much to bear.

Okay with allowing people to become homeless. Okay with allowing people to go hungry and die from starvation. Say what you want to about adults but there is absolutely NO reason ANY child should ever be allowed to go hungry or starve to death!

Now, what I've written thus far is really just the tip of the iceberg. There's still plenty more to ponder, consider, analyze and re-analyze. As human beings we ignore too many pressing issues. As conscious beings we deny our own consciousness. As sentient beings we deny the imbalance that plagues us. Worst of all, we deny the ever-flowing love and compassion within each and every one of us!

How much longer will we allow this to continue? It CANNOT be allowed to continue or else we will all be subjecting ourselves to our own extinction. Ultimately, only WE have the power to turn things around.

Even if we don't, it is likely that the Universe will somehow reset and realign mankind's trajectory. For you see.... we are important. The world is important. The Universe is important.

Existence is important.

Perfection

Do not try to achieve external perfection. You could drive yourself mad attempting such a feat. Instead, awaken to the perfection you hold within. Only then will you be at peace with yourself and the Universe.

Believe (Be)

Believe. Believe in great benevolent forces. Believe in Love. Believe in Friendship. Believe in Compassion. Believe in Truth. Believe in Wisdom. Believe in Knowledge. Believe in the power of Imagination. Believe in Beauty. Believe in Passion. Believe in the Impossible. Believe in Purpose. Believe in the Transmutation of all things at all times. Believe in the everpresent warm embrace of the Universe.
But most of all... believe in Yourself.

Tolstoy

"The aim of an artist is not to solve a problem irrefutably, but to make people love life in all its countless inexhaustible manifestations." -Leo Tolstoy

We Need Love

"We need love, we need beauty, and we need at least passing acquaintance with eternity. To the soul these are absolutes, and yet in modern life these three graces of life are values largely neglected. We reduce love to interpersonal relationship and then treat relationship as an emotional problem... The soul longs for love that is unconditional, unending and without tangible object." -Thomas Moore

We Live In Very Exciting Times

We live in very exciting times! We can send information around the world in the blink of an eye. NASA has confirmed that Mars did indeed once have a habitable environment. A cure for cancer and a cure for HIV are currently being tested and developed. Chemtrails are trying really hard to prevent our planet from evolving but are ultimately failing. The looming deficit appears to have no end in sight but may just result in a major shift of our political landscape. World wide protests are taking place in an effort to bring about a greater awareness of the financial imbalance that has plagued the country for far too long. December 21, 2012 came and went without so much as a whimper (just like the Mayans predicted; contrary to popular belief). Massive amounts of new energies are shooting out from the center of the galaxy and are enveloping everything and everyone in its warmth.

But above all else, mankind is on the verge of reclaiming and embracing our humanity. Never before has such a monumental event taken place on such a massive scale! I for one am very grateful to be alive during such an important period of our history and evolution. We should all be grateful for there's no telling when another opportunity like this will present itself.

Snow Cone

In the middle of January is when I lost my first original love. She had purchased a snow cone from a street vendor who only charged her a smile. Yes, a smile.

As she licked it she was brought back to a time when she was a child of only five. Her mother did not pay her much attention in those days. But usually because she was too inebriated to stand on her own two feet.

My original love she always thought of this when enjoying a snow cone or any other childhood treat. Sometimes she'd cry out loud if only to hear herself lose control.

Then one morning she finally lost complete and utter control. She mouthed off to the snow cone vendor and threw crushed ice at his face.

Some passerby interpreted this as a crime and phoned the local police. When the police arrived at the scene they saw her foaming at the mouth and felt it necessary to taze her.

Unfortunately, the voltage was just a bit too much for her fragile body to handle. Her brain literally imploded from the high voltage. She was buried next to her Mother.

All this happened in the middle of January. I lost my original love. I lost her when she lost herself.

I am reminded of this whenever I see a woman enjoying a snow cone.

Our Own

It's our own damn fault. Our own fault for turning killers into t.v. stars. Our own fault for valuing materialism over humanity. Our own fault for feeling so insecure and paranoid that we arm ourselves with more weapons than an individual needs. Our own fault for insulting each other and pushing each other away. But most of all it is our own damn fault for believing we are separate from everything and everyone! WE ARE ALL INTERCONNECTED AND INTERDEPENDENT! How many times must this be said until it finally sinks in? We help one another survive!

Intimations

I've yet to have a very profound intimate relationship with anyone. Sure I've had certain females in mind for such a role but none of them really panned out. Actually, none of them harbored any feelings towards me. It was as if they viewed me as some mystery that is better left a mystery.

They were probably right. I mean how could I even hope to provide anyone with even a shred of stability? Try as I may... it is not one of the traits I carry.

The first girl to ask me out was Jacqueline. Most people called her Jackie. It was during seventh grade math class. I was thrown off by it. I had just begun to cultivate my own identity that year when she first took notice of me. Our teacher was pretty adamant about carrying the decimal over to its proper place. I had just figured out what she meant by "proper place" and felt a tap on my right shoulder.

"Hi, Ryan. Will you go out with me?" Jackie practically whispered to me while hiding behind her geometry textbook. I stared at her face for a few seconds before answering. I wanted to say yes but it came out as, "No." I then got up from my desk, grabbed the hall pass and walked smoothly towards the boys' restroom.

I looked into the mirror and asked myself, "Why the hell did you say no? Are you insane?" I half expected to have an answer to my own question. The only thing I could come up with was that I thought Jackie was just joking around or something. It was seventh grade after all. And seventh grade also happened to be one of the years in which I considered everything to be nothing more than a joke.

When I returned to class I immediately noticed the somber look on her face. I felt awful but decided it was best to bury my head in some trapezoids and hexagons. The minutes flew by; I did not look at her again until the bell rang. I watched her get up from her desk, clutching her personalized binder, and slowly walk out of the classroom.

The full force of what had occurred did not hit me until I arrived home later that day. I then began to dissect the entire moment; second by second. "If she was serious about it then the least she could have done was tell me she was serious." I said to myself while pondering long and hard. I allowed it to boggle my mind for a few more hours before finally giving up on the whole prospect of understanding her motives.

I saw her plenty of times after that. We had almost all the same classes. I don't think she even bothered to tell anyone about how I turned her down. I don't blame her. I don't tell people about my rejections either.

The rest of the year went by uneventfully. Well, it was uneventful for me but I witnessed plenty of classmates find love and heartbreak. Jackie was one of them. She had two short flings over the course of two months.
