Forward Forward

Forward, forward, sideways across. She carries her only daughter across the river known only as River Hardly. The words to describe such an event are numerous and un-nameable. One must be careful not to pursue a lengthy description when trying to amuse the masses.

But the masses are stupid, unfortunate, desolate & lonely creatures of habit! Unlike that woman with her only daughter, still but stained by her wanting happiness. Illusory things mutate choiceless advantages.

Bell

Woman at door with child selling chocolate bars for $1 for her son's baseball team. Baseball? Who the hell still plays baseball?

I purchased one, a Milky Way bar. Makes me think of the galaxy we inhabit. I believe there should be an Andromeda bar or a Crab Nebula bar. The entire Universe should be paid tribute.

People don't give a damn. They say they do but they don't. Sure, they're busy with the day to day stuff but none of that would be possible if the Universe didn't exist.

It may be bad - it may be good. Whatever you choose to call it it's still a part of the entirety of existence. This you mustn't deny!

If you try to outwit existence you will only end up creating more negative illusions to get caught up in. Catch yourself now before the final dinner bell is rung.

Chocolatey Independent

Just been keeping busy with my various writing projects and art projects. I detest most of what is on television these days. The only channels I stick with are HBO, Shotime, Cinemax & the Sundance Channel. They tend to show a lot of independent abstract stuff that I enjoy.

I got a hankering for something chocolatey and so I bid thee farewell.

Pretty Engaging

Someone once told me it is better to want to know who you are than not have any clue or desire. I don't recall who it was that said this but he was pretty engaging. Next thing I knew I was soaring up over the highest mountains and the thickest arrogance.

A part of me remains with the human race. But my majority surrounds the ether of all existence.

One Million Breaths

How many times a day do you take a deep breath? Three? Four? Five? It must be more than a dozen, more than a hundred. But I suppose the exact number is not too important. Or maybe it is so important that it immediately becomes irrelevant.

Just as there are millions and millions of reasons for breathing; there are millions and millions of atoms holding it all together. Is there any excuse for being so apathetic towards the whole of creation? You may think there is but I think not.

Do not put your faith in things like greed, materialism, vanity, employment or capitalism. Such things are not capable of providing permanent happiness. You can fool yourself over and over but then that would just make you look like a court jester.

How many times a day do you contemplate? I mean really contemplate. There's no need to fear contemplation. Why would you fear it anyway? Of all the things in this world to fear... contemplation is definitely not one of them. Neither is breathing.

Take one million deep breaths daily. Contemplate one million profound deaths daily. Live, Love, Laugh.

Written Word Devotion

I am ready to fully devote my life to writing and everything it entails. I want to stop playing in all these egotistical "bands" and start doing what I am truly meant to do. I just cannot bother any longer with pretending that I actually care about fame and/or fortune. That's never been my main motivator. Music is a part of me but it does not define me. Art is a part of me but it does not define me. But writing... well, it not only defines me but it is capable of defining and redefining everyone and everything.

I shall post my progress here and also on my new personal site: www.ryanandrewloera.weebly.com

TV STRIKE!!

Recently my digital converter box thingy crapped out on me and is no longer able to power on. Apparently that particular model has some major flaws which were never revealed to the public. The main one is that it overheats too easily  which causes its parts to corrode and wear out. I will admit that I cursed the heavens once I realized I could no longer watch my favorite shows but then I analyzed the situation. Then came to the conclusion that most television networks have been force-feeding us crap for years. Everyone knows that there really is no need for these mindless self-indulgent atrocities we call "reality shows." And scripted shows have pretty much gone the way of the dinosaur. Now, I suppose there are maybe one or two truly great programs on each channel. But in the end they really do not serve much of a purpose other than to lull us into a state of apathy and misguidance. So, with that being said, I am currently on a TV Strike! It's been 3 days so far; I've been occupying myself with much more creative and stimulating endeavors such as: Painting, Drawing, Reading, Playing music, Writing music, Working on my short stories, Working on my auto-biography, and Spending time with friends and family. I really see no reason for me to miss watching television. And I suppose I never really had a reason to watch television in the first place. I think everyone should try going on a TV Strike at some point in their everyday existence. It's really not as necessary as we may think. :-)

Anonymity

I find it quite interesting how much technology allows us to interact with each other. I know some would say that it hinders that one on one communication that human beings tend to rely on. That is partly true. There have been times when I've tried to express a certain opinion or idea to someone in person and they still don't have a clue about what I've said. So, for me, I feel that technology is a much better way for me to share my opinions and ideas to a much larger audience and because of that I usually tend to get responses from the right people. The ones who know exactly what I'm talking about. Let's face it, we can only share certain pieces of ourselves without being ridiculed. The rest is reserved for those who resonate on the same frequency and not only understand our thought process but live it everyday. Even as I type this, I am wanting to share all of my accumulated knowledge with the entire population. What's stopping me? Nothing really. Nothing other than the fact that I am still searching for more like-minded people. Will I ever find/connect with enough people in order to share and inspire? Who knows. Maybe I already have and just haven't given it much thought. Maybe there are hundreds or thousands of people who read my writings/posts everyday but just would rather remain completely anonymous. I guess even if just one person can comprehend my innate ramblings then that person will pass along my message to ten people who will also understand and those ten people will pass it along to ten more people; and so on. And who's to say that they haven't already. Anonymity is one of the most attractive qualities about the internet. So, to all those that read this and my other works  I thank you. To all those who have already read my stuff and passed it along  I thank you. And to all those that remain silent and anonymous but read my stuff everyday  I thank you.
